GENERAL MANAGER NEEDED FOR E-COMMERCE BUSINESS WITH ONSITE CALL CENTER

With all of our growth, we're seeking a General Manager to oversee our sales team and work in conjunction with marketing to continue expansion, develop sales opportunities and drive revenue!  Job Summary

The General Manager coordinates the e-commerce and call center activities of the sales consultants, front end sales management, back end sales management, dialers and customer support staff to reach established goals and achieve budgeted revenue targets of Inc Authority sales.  The General Manager is responsible for coordinating and/or participating in other programs that support attainment of core responsibilities such as interaction with marketing, fulfillment and executive level personnel.

Job Description Essential Duties:

  • Responsibilities include hiring, training, supervision, and conducting performance appraisals for departmental work force. Sets goals and tracks employee performance along with the development and recommendation of compensation programs for the employees.  Establishes annual and monthly revenue and performance goals.  Conducts sales meetings to motivate and educate sales consultants about product knowledge and sales skills.  Listens to sales consultants' conversations with prospects and clients and recommends improvements in qualifying and closing the sale.  Creates, organizes, implements and maintains work processes to streamline the Inc Authority sales department. Assists the marketing department and operations department on projects from inception to completion. Develops partnerships with outside organizations to maximize monetization of leads and accounts. Teamwork and communication are prerequisites at all times.  Other duties as required due to operational demands or as assigned.

Other Job Requirements:

  • 10 years of management experience preferred.
  • Significant sales and marketing background required.
  • E-commerce sales experience preferred.
  • Call center sales experience preferred.
  • Small business services sales experience preferred.
  • Motivational leadership style.
  • Highly organized and energetic personality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify and exploit new channels of business.
  • 40+ hours per week
